Well the fressh water is here. Dark water means dark fish mostlly and there are some beauties.  The big snook are in the passes and on the inshore wrecks. Fresh hatch and small shiners are scattered along the beaches and the tarpon are feeding. The fishings fine in Naples Fl....

     The days are starting to get hot, and the fishing getting hot. The permit are cruising the the coast and posting up on the wrecks. Snook are big and in numbers although they never opened up season for us. There is a plethora of small fry and white bait along the beach and in the canals.

Boat #1 Fishing the backwaters and beaches on a 21ft keyhopper flats boat from Naples to Everglades City and the Ten Thousand Islands is a real favorite for anglers from the novice to the well-geared and seasoned fisherman. Fly fishing as well as live bait trips are available for those who like to specialize in those aspects of backwater and river fishing.

Boat #2 There is also a deep sea fishing charter boat available for those who want to test more extreme angling skills on grouper, snapper, king fish and shark, along with many other kinds of big fish that are popular in the Gulf of Mexico. You'll get tired, you'll get wet, you'll have a lot of fun.

Everything, including fishing license, bait, all equipment, coolers, tackle, and drinks are part of every charter. For full-day charters, we'll feed you, too. Just hop on board near the foot of Danford street near the Naples Botanical Garden, just a few short minutes drive from 5th Avenue and downtown Naples. Capt. Zeke's charters are all licensed and insured. The captain is also a member of the Florida Guides Association whose stated goal of responsibility is "better fishing through conservation." Fall Days

The weather is so nice right now and the fish love it. There is a change in the air and the summer doldrums are almost gone. Every creature is in the area is active and on the hunt. Sunday the 5Th Tom Robinson myself and some crazy doctors had a blast way offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. Red Grouper and Amberjack were the fish of the day and it was a hungry bite.

Florida Keys Trip June 5-14th

Here are some pictures from Caloosa Cove Marina. I was crewing a 30' vessel Cuda with captain and owner Mike Lucas. The dolphin were not thick but the scoolies kept us busy. The bill fish is a White Marlin we fought for 17 minutes before reviving and releasing healthy. The weather was awesome with a light breeze every day with no real storms to deal with. Hot,Hot,Hot. Blacktip Shark Sunset Trip

Connor Dunn,Capt. Chad and myself fished Gordons Pass Monday the 12th. Bait was hard to find but the ballyhoo were everywhere. The Tarpon were there and after a few mullet got BLASTED through the air we had to call it a trip. The only fish we got was a 6 foot Black tip shark. It was fun but not the Tarpon we were looking for.
